Should offer you a days holiday IMO.

Depending on your contract they might not have to offer you anything.

Me anarl - I was advised it is because I am salaried - would not accept yes, but only salaried for a 37 hour week and normally done that by a Thursday - bassteeds

I normally get a day off in lieu, if I work a weekend day or spend a day travelling

We get 1:1 lieu time, but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if such compensation isn't written into the law.

We sometimes were offered to go to glasgow / Llundando in Wales / London to other offices and carryout different methods of training for different teams, We were always paid an hourly rate for the duration of the travel & duration away, never offered holidays etc though. Check in your contract mate as it's going to be a lot more reliable source of info than here.

Same here with the salary thing.

Ultimately, I don't really mind as I make sure I get time back in other ways.

Never been owt in me contract or anything for it but I've always had an understanding with bosses that I will expect some time back. I've never taken back as much as has been taken from me but enough to be happy they're not taking the piss

Similar for me......... 'Managers Discretion' always handy to have time in the bank for an early finish or day off in lieu.

No mate it was a finance position
