Resting tonight, as its the Mrs' birthday. Maybe some light cardio if anything.

Insanity on Monday, Some intervals on the bike / rower on Tuesday & 5-a-side last night.

Need to do a bit more research into best ways to burn fat without muscle catabolism, wich probably involves getting to the gym & doing more than just body weight resistance stuff??

Looking at the nutritional side quite a bit more than I have done in the past so plenty to discover there.

Your Cutting thread was a help too, tracking my Macros intake on myfitnesspal, & noticed my sugars are way higher than suggested (hence the thread the other day). But so much conflicting info, was reading a piece last night on the importance of maintaining carb intake
 
Unfortunately university work is getting on top of me and I can't stand training properly till next Friday. Getting my diet prepared and training scheme written down. Following the Steve Cook regime.
He's got a YouTube channel, search 'swoldier nation' and is doing a 12 week blog in his run up to his competition.
 
having a gym 30 seconds away is proving useful managed at least 1 gym session a day and tried to keep my eating as clean as possible being a poor student the temptation of cheap rubbish food is high but trying to avoid as much as possible.

did a half weekly weigh in make sure i was going the right way and dropped down to 218.4 from 220.6 so not bad so far try and keep it up i suppose
 
Might as well chuck this up as it keeps me accountable, 4 weeks in & the lovehandles are starting to disappear. Nothing too dramatic, but I feel a lot leaner & healthier.

Wasn't it 4 months? which will make it end of April / beginning of may.

I'll just leave it for another month.

I'm not drinking this month either. so if I don't lose weight this month I'm giving up and going back to being a proper fatty

Stick with it man, giving up the drink is a massive step in the right direction. You might just need to watch your calorie intake a bit more, it's not just about eating right but the right amount. There is such a thing as too much of a good thing. You MYST be in a calorie deficit to lose weight, either by restricting calories or increasing exercise.
Good luck mate, please don't give up !!!
