Trains to London for matches

On Saturdays I think. It used to be ok to drink on the way down but not coming back. Thats why I only ever use the coach for London trips

It all depends on who else is playing either in London or on route i.e. Leeds, Sheff Utd etc. Sunday was fine both ways as we were the only team playing but normally it's dry trains only.

Not exactly hard to sneak it on

"You got drink in there lads?"
"No officer".

That was sufficient last time anyway.

Yep, Fulham away last year on a SUNDAY, hundreds of cans and bottles had to be left on floor outside of Burger King. Someone had a free Christmas party.

Don't want to mention it too much. I was cyber lynched for complaining I only got 7 pre match pints

Were ya not well like ;)

Nah, I was unhappy that I didn't get more. Many of the non attenders on here defaulted to " Why do you feel you have to drink before the match!"
Then suggested I was a trouble maker and shouldn't go to matches. Pathetic really.

For the first time in about 10 years I didn't have a drop of Alcohol before the Spurs game. It was rather enlightening, and I didn't mind it.

I also didn't have a drop while watching Chelsea.

Felt f***ing strange like.

Although normally the only decent part of the day when watching football is getting pissed, the match normally gets in the way. I lost count the amount of times 'we should have just stayed in that boozer' has been said.

I don't understand the need to get pissed to watch football, acting boorishly and spoiling it for the rest - especially the women and kids who just want to cheer the team on. We're enjoying the event in 21st century stadia, let's try not to act like 16th century knaves.
