Train for London

Someone told me last time the train was so packed, people couldn’t make the toilet. One guy pissed in a bottle and another literally shit himself and had to throw his pants away in burger king

It was. We were standing like sardines in the vestibule next to the toilet and had to keep squeezing in to let people into the loo.

Travelodge Farringdon booked. I live close enough to London to do it as a day trip but booked a bed for the night just in case. Could always cancel it if play change or in the unlikely event that we don't make the final.

anyone booked a train to London for Wembley now, or waiting til Friday, or possibly Monday week
£55 for the 4 of us. We used a family and friends rail card though
Thats mint!...

Currently showing £75 for 1 Adult/1 Child Day Return, going via LUMO and Returning with LNER

Tates travel are always bang on with the rail and stay deals, good hotels aswell. I’ll just wait to see if we get there first then phone them.
Had to stand on the trains both ways for the last 2 wembley visits.
Anyone know if there will be any return flights on if we manage to get there?

Think we all need to calm down ,what thread next ? What days the victory parade on ? ,singing que sara sara yesterday ,booking trains to london today,
i just don't like tempting fate..

Get what you’re saying but it’s just good economic sense to book trains/hotels you can cancel. The prices will rocket next week. We have done this for the last 3 Wembley trips and have saved a fortune

Exactly this.
Last play off final, I waited til after the semis to be sure and the train went up to £140 return within a few minutes.

This time, I've already bought train tickets for £60 return which can either be cancelled or used for a day out if we don't make it that far.

We have already booked day return tickets £70 each and we will either have a day out in London or get a credit refund for a future journey if we don't decide to go should we not get there.

We have done full weekends the last times we have been and we said we weren't going to go if we got there again as sick of being let down by the bottlers on the pitch.

But we couldn't miss the opportunity again, its what makes us the fans we are. However, after the last couple of years we just can't justify the weekend prices.

If we stand all the way then we stand.

To/From where.. how easy is it to get from London Airport to Wembley and back?
Newcastle to Heathrow, tube straight in to London, we've got an apartment booked near Farringdon. Had the flights booked a while ago with BA, however they cancelled the flight we were on due to staff shortage's, managed to get rebooked on one on the same day at a different time. Travelling on the Friday coming back on the Monday.

Drive up to Uxbridge from Southampton, weekend rate in local car park £3 ish, then tube from there. Wish it was as easy to get to SoL from here!

Me buying tickets for a weekend in London has absolutely no bearing on us going to the final or not.

Same here. If we don't make the final, I may still go down for the weekend. Probably have more fun without the stress of a play-off final. Otherwise I will cancel and put the money into my summer holiday beer fund.

A couple of very decent boozers near Uxbridge station. Would be a canny shout if hotel prices are daft in Stab City.
