I got a passport for the first time about 2 years ago for a trip to Mexico (didn't even really need it turns out). A friend of mine who is Mexican took me to some small village where you actually get to pick, slaughter, and prepare your own food. No lie. It's because of that trip that I stopped eating meat *shudders*. So my passport is still good but I seriously doubt I will use it before it expires...
