Marco. He is questioning why they leave early.
I don't think he has ? I don't think he's great on the radio (he certainly is timid to be critical of the playing staff) don't get me wrong, but I did hear him say the fans are great and was defending the 'low attendances' etc....he doesn't understand why people leave early, neither do I, and now isn't a good time to really have that discussion but I don't really see him having a pop at the fans . People hear what they want to I suppose .

Sung!30,000 gates despite no home win since Christmas our fan base should be sang about from the rooftops.
Mmmm, well maybe. As I say, if he did it today that's not great, but usually a lot of us wonder the same thing. Plenty steam out on 80 minutes even if we're winning or drawing or 1 behind and very much in the game. It's a weird phenomenon.
Regardless, every time I hear him he praises the fans a lot !
It's so unlike the op to make a sweeping generalisation that suits his own agenda which turns out to be bollocks.
If he's even there at allCritical of those who leave early and critical of those who booed Rodwell. Offered some sympathy towards Rodwell. Ironic thing was he claims he has to leave early sometimes "for different reasons"
It's only an hour in the car to York as well.
He said those who go should see the game out then said he leaves early "for other reasons". Also said he had sympathy for Rodwell. Hes always getting sly digs in at the fans, he's done so for years. Be interesting to see how he would feel if he had to pay for his tickets
Ha'way, marra. He is an ex footballer who will more than likely bump into the lad, if Rodders is not hiding, around the club. What can a lad in his position realistically say? He is playing the game and earning a living. Can't knock a lad for that. If he were to say how it really is the plug would get unplugged soon enough. However, the reality is that the forum he is on has to toe a certain line or the club will take a dim view. And that is fair enough. It does not take a former player's view on a local radio station to inform us what we see. What we see is frustration, marra.
Which is?He has an agenda to push and that's the end off it.
ThisIt isn't bollocks though. Marco has become a total joke on the show. It's not worth listening to it nowadays.
interesting reading , is it not.. No conflict of interest here my friend.Cheers marra
