Top gun is one of my favourite films.
"Talk to me goose."
"Easy, cougar, just stay on my wing and I'll take you all the way in."
"Maverick supersonic, I'll be there in 30 seconds."

"Who's up there?"..... " cougar and merlin and maverick and goose"........"Great....maverick and goose."
There's a boat......?....a fighter jet load of good sayings in this film.

It'll take some beating by the second one. Hopefully it does it justice just like terminator 2 went way better than 1.

Loved the first one, it’s a film of my childhood.
This looks good actually, as has been said it’s rare Cruise makes a crap film. The flight scenes look superb.

I'm a little disappointed Maverick is not being played by a black woman in this latest movie. The franchise needs to be a little more progressive imo.
