"Tony Mowbray pays the price for overachieving with young'uns."

She is saying what I think. He got the job on the basis that he had a reputation for developing younger players. He lost the job because the younger players have stopped developing with his increasingly random selections and tactics, and he’s started criticising the fact that he’s got to develop younger players.

We didn’t overachieve last season. This is a total myth. Mowbray had the tools to do the job and even due to injuries made a mess of selection which resulted in a poor home form.It was clear that the second half against Burnley that we needed to change to counter their attacks down the right. Mowbray was far too slow to respond to the other teams tactics.Where was his tactical nous in the playoffs when we all knew Luton would bully us at their dump? Would we have been any worse than Luton or Sheffield Utd in the PL?
People have fallen for Mowbray’s poor me comments.Prior to his appointment he was hanging around the club. He was brought in to develop the young players and his recent comments undermine this.
We need to move on as we did after the last excuse merchant jumped ship

I’m sorry that’s absolute horsehit
You are quite entitled to your opinion but please explain why you think it is manure with a coherent argument...........You would not expect me to say Blyth is a shithole full of Morons if I had not visited the place.....
How on earth do you know that assumption is correct?
Good Point you make and indeed How do we know that any of the assumptions and statements on here are Correct until as they say the fat lady sings.

Only Time will tell whether the assumptions are correct (which I think they are) or Not.....

I agree with most of this, I think the recruitment in the summer has brought in too many untested inexperienced players from abroad and expected them all to be ready in a very short space of time. A difficult balance of winning games whilst pressure from above to play the new signings. The recruitment have unearthed some real gems from this country, the overseas signings have been more miss than hit. Time will tell if whoever replaces Mowbray will have the ability to integrate these young players whilst achieving positive results, I hope they can.
That’s the tricky part in a nutshell.

She hasn't got a clue.

She says Mowbray probably knew his time was coming to an end yet goes on to say his shock sacking.

It wasn't a shock. Fans had been speaking about it for weeks, he'd even touched on it in his interviews when he said he's been in football a long time and he knows that if you're not getting results then you lose your job. 2 wins in 9, 1 point against Millwall, Huddersfield and Plymouth, no plan b, not getting a tune out of the strikers, speaking out about the model in interviews.

The time was right to part ways. He goes out on a positive note rather than further down the line with a few more defeats and a toxic atmosphere.

We're buying young players both English and foreign, mainly French speaking therefore it's key we get in a young multilingual coach. Mowbray didn't trust any players that didn't have a good English level because he couldn't communicate with them. A multilingual coach will be able to do that and won't have any issues putting them in.

He was always just a stop gap that was brought in to steady the ship until we found someone we want to give the job to long term, he's had one promotion to the Premier League and that was nearly 20 year ago he's a very average Championship manager going by his CV and all getting to the play offs did was keep him in a job for another 6 months.
