Tony Mowbray’s next job

Who would you want if AN goes? (And the time has got to be coming)
Just feel someone like TM is a solid appointment. Plays good football and knows how to stabilise a team in the Championship. When I see you's dwindling so close to the drop zone, he looks like an ideal man to turn to.
Stop teasing 😈

I can only see him taking a local (to him) club. Has to be a Yorkshire team really, I can't see him fancying Hartlepool.

U19s/U23s or Manager job in a NE or Yorkshire club starting in the summer would suit him down to the ground I reckon. Home in time for tea and kipping in your own bed every night gets better with age. Anyone whose worked away from home for any time would surely agree.
Hotel hangovers, hunting round for somewhere to eat, realising you’ve not packed any socks, boxers, belts, toothpaste etc etc all wears thin.
Think the first one on her list was fitting some new lino in the kitchen , then shes got him on the gutters and a leaking outside tap
…..the leaves are piling up and wtf are those boxes still doing in the garage full of his initialled Blackburn kit? A few weeks of that and he’ll be after the Plymouth job if their feller comes to us.

Saw Tony in Manchester at lunchtime. Must still have a home in the area from his Blackburn days maybe?
Could end up scouting for a club in the north west ?

(He was with his other half and a teenage son, being what appeared to be dragged round the shops , he looked reassuring non plussed by it aswell 😁. )

TM is definitely a talented , if limited coach, with a speciality for player development. He took the job with us to be nearer to home as he was tired of living away from his family. He may well take another managerial or coaching job, but I would think he would only take on within commuting distance.
Wherever he ends up I wish him every success.

He’s a great bloke TM and obv hates shopping -probably unless it’s food shopping -which I get

The thing is, if he prefers developing youth, you'd think he'd be perfect for an U21s or U18s team. Granted the money wouldn't be as good, but if he just wants something to pass his time as he gets closer to retirement without the stress and hassle of first team management, why not?
He won't travel now
A club like Huddersfield perhaps, commute not crazy.
