Someone off here once recounted being on Weakest Link (Australia version as he's emigrated there) and getting knocked out because the quizmaster couldn't understand his accent and thought he'd given the wrong answer

Saw Alexander Armstrong do something similar on Pointless. Some older northern woman mispronounced an answer she wasn’t 100% sure of and he exaggerated how she said it to make sure it sounded wrong. He could have gone the other way and if she’d been some fit young student he problies would have.

Just got me thinking if I'd had a piss next to anybody famous. Leighton Rees the ex world darts champion is the only one that comes to mind. Not as name dropping as Tony Hadley but still worth a mention.
