Plymouth ffs. A club who were relegated our first season down here but who are now ahead of us.

f***ing embarrassing.
I always think it's bizarre we only seem to play well for one half....Why only 45 minutes either first or second half? I can never work it out but it seems to have been that way forever.
Can Alex Neil create some consistency across 90 minutes?

Plenty of twists and turns yet. Five games last night - four results went against us but there’s usually at least one unexpected outcome and Accrington did us a small favour.

As the games get ticked off the pressure will increase and some of our playoff rivals have more difficulty run ins than us.

We’ve just got to keep looking after our own results and we’ll be ok.

I'll take tonight's results.

A Sheff Wed draw is a brilliant result for us. Pompey are completely out of it now.

We have both Plymouth and Oxford to play so can directly effect those games. I don't expect us to lose either game.

I said it when he was appointed that Alex Neil, on paper is the best manager in this league. Nothing I've seen has changed my mind.
Totally agree. I reckon we'll go up through playoffs. Team will hit top gear by end of season

Those missed opportunities whilst toot and ploot were in charge are coming back to haunt us.
Toot and ploot might have been in charge for at least one game fewer if this board and maybe parts of the club's board hadn't worked themselves into a lather about Keane. I plead guilty to it myself, even got me by the end. But it was silly.

Currently on 66 points.

5 extremely winnable games against Lincoln, Shrewsbury, Morecambe, Gillingham and Cambridge to come.

Obviously Rotherham (H, and they could well be on the beach with automatic promotion confirmed when it eventually gets played), Oxford (A) and Plymouth (A) in amongst that too.

4 wins from those 5 extremely winnable games (we should really be winning all 5, but it's SAFC we're talking about here) would have us on 78.

A couple of points at worst from the other games would have us on 80.

Obviously records can be broken, but no team in at least the last 20 years (I stopped looking after that so it's probably more) has failed to make the L1 playoffs with 80 points.

This is the reality, and I think we can be fairly confident that we will be in the top 6.

Neil is shit housing our way into the play offs, not as good on the eye as Johnsonball but far more effective. we are booking our place in the Championship. We are the in form team in this league.

Is it more effective ? About even in terms of how effective it is

Which given the flogging of dan neil, callum doyle before he arrived, lack of defensive cover, injury to pritch and 1st choice keepers being absent says something about AN. He'll get alot stronger as the next few games go by and we'll hit top gear going into playoffs
