Aye, its canny if you've got a youngun like. I sat there when i first got a ST, but i was 14 then, now I feel like I should probably make a move to either the SWC or the North Stand as it is really a family enclosure and i dont think they approve when i cant resist calling the ref a cunt

Lucky bassa- I might look into moving anarl (as i say, not necessarily to the SWC, might go into the North Stand), I thought you could only move during that short spell after the season ticket deadline but before the general sale, but it seems i was wrong

  I know the feeling and I'm NWC as well. That said the two young lads in front are growing up now so won't be long before they're joining me ;)

ive never been in the north before, is it any good? was thinking about it for the derby in jan as getting in the swc will be impossible

The North Stand is a bit of an odd one. On its day it can be class, but the SWC is a lot more consistent in terms of noise etc. I would imagine the north stand will be good on derby day though. Not as many songs for individual players etc, but should be plenty of Sunderland songs. You might get in the SWC mind, its not all ST holders so if you phone up as soon as the derby tickets go on sale i would imagine you could get one in there

I went to the ticket office gave them my season card and told them what seat I wanted (I checked availability on Talent Arena) and within 15 minutes I had my new card in my hand.

If you want to move it's probably best doing it sooner with people buying half season tickets

Aye, i might have to do that, cheers

Although I am wearing a light pink shirt, will I be beaten for being a massive gayer with a light pink shirt on?

Just tell em all it is a red and white striped shirt (that you wore to work specially, knowing you would need to go straight to the stadium) but your mam washed it last night and the colours ran and you didnt have any others to put on.

that'll never work, far too clever to fall for that.

Me and a couple of mates had season tickets in the swc. I used to enjoy it. It was always good banter and where I sat I was surrounded by older fans who just wanted to have a couple of beers and support the team.

Then gradually the older blokes were replaced by the retarded chav brigade (about 2 seasons ago) who were high on something or other. Swore and threw things at their own fans around them, racist chanted their own players (Jones) and generally got on everyone’s tits.

I thought id better move after nearly hitting one of the little feckers. Now im in the concourse just above. Still get the atmosphere from the swc with a better view.

I know the whole corner isn’t like this but couldn’t get 3 seats together when we moved.

can understand that, but i never really knew where this 'chav' streotype came from for the SWC

weve got 4 together, row 29, old bloke and his son (25ish) to our left and 3 blokes to our right, a father and his two young sons behind us (stand on their seats) and a couple of old geezers in front who dont really sing much but like a good shout and roar. looking around me there arent any groups of younguns under the age of 20, apart from one group in front and about 10 seats to the right, they are about 14 year old, and squeeze about 7 or 8 of them and there mates into two or three seats. never understood this 'chav thing'

Imo the chav hot spot is the back of the South Stand, they always congregate there

As i say, this was a couple of seasons ago, u18 row 28. they might have stopped sitting there now but at the time i spent more time keeping an eye on them and it affected me enjoying the match.

Im not saying there are loads of chavs in the swc or that the majority are not nice people, but at the time i didnt enjoy being surrounded by what i could only describe as scum. probably in jail now or thankfully cant afford to go to the games ;)
