loads of lads at my college wear them, they look rediculous they also put safety pins on the bottom of their jeans to make the jeans look tighter. Also a couple of lads wear a one piece suit like this:

I like them, but I don't wear them with all the other gay stuff, also if you buy a pair, they give one pair to an African

I like them because it instantly identifies the wearers as utter, utter cunts.
Well i'm 25 and well into clothes and that, so i guess i am part of this 'generation.'

Its just fashion by numbers. Theres nothing individual about it. Where as in the past you have trends influenced by peoples lifestyles and interests (i.e punks, mods, casuals etc), nowadays, the major fashion trends are a product of Topman and the likes basically telling folk what to where, with no actual substance behind the trend.
to be fair there is substance behind the trend. Lets not forget that topman and the like are only mass producing what the top fashion houses are doing and selling it at mass produced high street price. The people at top man are only young designers who are ripping of the real fashion talent such as dries, Raf or Margiela.
The only real reason for lack of individuality is unfortunately the north east has a stigma of calling people who chose not to dress with the conformists. The ammount of times iv had grief up here for an item of clothing iv worn is unbeliavable yet in say london or Paris no one batts an eylid.
