Walcott is improving at an alarming rate.

He'll be a world beater by the age of 40 for sure
 
Carrick has fed the final third nice and early, but Rooney has created nothing from it. Defensively we look shaky. Walcott can easily beat his man, but his first touch is poor.

McCarthy has been great.

It really looks like Rooney has lost all interest in playing football. The bite and spark is gone.

Not just saying it on tonights performance, but he has been awful tonight

Yea, always thought Rooney was a very inspiring player to watch. So passionate and determined. I think this is a good demonstration of the fact that it's best to let the player go when he decides he no longer wants to stay.

Rooney made his mind up that he wanted to leave a couple of years back, and they managed to get him to stay. He hasn't been the same player since.
