Surprised to see that there is no thread on the first page of PF, is everyone totally uninterested in this game?

Or is it just there's to many other things to talk about?

Is this the one Ashley Cole may or may not be captain in.

Ireland team:

Forde; Coleman, O’Shea, St Ledger, Kelly; Walters, McCarthy, Whelan, McGeady; Long, Keane.

I bet you lot are shitting bricks.

The press over here are trying to make a big deal out of it. A lot of my mates are falling for the 'it's not a friendly when you play England' but it is. I'll watch it as there's nothing else on the telly box. But I think people are a little be sick of football now. We had the climax of the end of season games, cup finals and play-offs. This is an anti-climax. Plus international football isn't the same as it use to be. The club game is the be all and end all now.

The only interest in the game appears to be in who's the captain and the type of bollocks exemplified by the title of the thread.

Couldn't care less. I'm delighted the season's finished as far as we're concerned.

Meaningless and therefore no interest.

I can't speak for anyone else but I really can't be bothered. International friendlies are often the worst excuses of football games you can watch.

I didn't even realise England had friendlies coming up until it was mentioned by some pundit in the Champions League final.
