Averaging a goal every 215 minutes in the Championship, very similar to Cannon who I have at a goal every 210.

The fee was cheap because he was refusing to sign a new contract, and was training with the U21s as a result. City fans view is that he's not nearly as good as he thinks he is. Strip his penalties out, and the record isn't great.

If our parsimonious club are looking to spend £5-6m on a single player you can be re-assured they have done a deep, deep dive into his stats going back several years. They must be very confident he can do what they want him to do. I accept any purchase is a gamble but I would bet the odds are in our favour.

Leicester, unlike us, know they have a larger market and they are selling down the divisions, not up (to me, this is much less risky for them as he isn't a key player.) so they can afford to hold out for a bidding war
