Toivonen return

Looks like we've had our pants taken down, yet again. Our abysmal transfer dealing is a constant theme.

really sums up our recruitment team the last few years. We end up signing players that their current club can't wait to see the back of, and who no-one else in their right mind would want.

The only one I can think of in recent times, who had a few clubs chasing him was Defoe.

Surprised you're trying to turn this into a debate with another poster, really unlike you

The post from the match was after a day on the drink and meant to be a wind up to people blasting him from their laptops.

It didn't come over as I meant it but I'll somehow live through it

He'll post it forever more like he does with my comments about Matthews that he's done half a dozen times.

He's such a sad man he blocks anyone searching his posts but we all know where the bodies are buried ;)

Well stop looking for a row with me and let people discuss the OP point. My post was topical, yours haven't been.
I'm not looking to row, merely pointing out you had a sly dig at another poster rather than discussing the OP.

Stop playing the victim.

Aye, his thoughts on Rodwell were canny.

Hope it is true in one way but isn't in another.
The real danger is other clubs will simply stop all dealings with our hierarchy whether there's a transfer ban on us or not. They're just learning on the job.
I really hope this shower don't do lasting damage to our reputation before they all f*ck off.

Be a shame if we can not send him back. Again though, shouldn't have been brought here in the first place. Was obviously that he would not be able to succeed in this league.
Looked good in his first game (Spurs?) but has been awful ever since - no pace and offers nothing in the team

How have I blocked people searching my posts? Rocky pulled me up for my ranieri assessment other week. Rightly so as well!
You see we all make mistakes but I'm quite happy to accept mine whereas you wriggle about trying to get out of yours. Don't see why either as this isn't crown court. Nothing bads going to happen if you get something wrong on the SMB ya know!

That's rubbish that is. He told us to bookmark this

It was Villa, I was there and he seemed to be just what we needed in midfield ...
.... putting his foot in, holding the ball, seeing a pass quickly and winning headers. Everyone around us were well impressed so I'd say he does have the talent but can't understand why he can't utilise it. Perhaps he's sulking because Advocaat left but that's doing us no good now.

No sly dig it was a very clear one. Just like how he has digs at posters who have questioned PVA just because he had a canny game other night. What's good for the goose..............
Oh my Rodwell one

Hope for all you mere mortals when a footballing sage like me can get things wrong!

What was his excuse before Dick left?

And hope for proper nerds when non internet geeks like me can search for old quotes

I don't think he's looked too bad playing behind the striker. He'll never in a million years be a midfielder though. Quite surprised he never got a run upfront, when Defoe was out.

Even better is that we have made it public to Toivonen that we dont want him, but will probably have to keep him, his desire and motivation will be even worse than it is now.... (probably due to collect the best part of £1m wages during all this too):lol::lol:
