So training this morning then and weekend off as there's no game?

all I was told is they need to be at the AOL for half 12 and got told last night don't need to come in saturday or sunday (u23s play on tuesday).

We are a big League One club linked with (mainly quite young) League One or smaller Championship clubs’ managers, and giving one of our club legends his first manager job (after he’s spent 5 years as an assistant in the top 2 divisions).
Missed that altogether. Did it happen during the night.

Even if the takeover goes through in a huge blaze of glory, we'll not be hunting around for the likes of f***ing Hughton and BSA. It'll be a league one or lower championship manager.

I’m not saying that’s my thoughts on us but it’s how people on the outside view us. We’re perceived dreadfully outside of our bubble.
But Phillips, Holloway and Stendel have all said they'd be interested already and presumably Ainsworth too. I think more is made of that than is true. Previously yes we were horrendous.... but Ross got a fair crack.

I agree but go on twitter or another clubs forum and you’ll see people arguing otherwise. We weren’t actually that bad previously, Keane, sbragia, advocaat and moyes all resigned. Doesn’t change the fact that people outside of Sunderland see us as a club who don’t give the manager a chance. Any manager in a job (eg robins) would probably think twice about giving up what they’ve got.

I've intentionally left all of my work for today, so i'm distracted. God help all of you who are sitting around refreshing, fingers crossed.

Fair enough... I want Stendel anyway so hopefully it puts Ainsworth off
