Toasties

Crumble it man crumble
I’m looking forward to trying one. Having a simple cheese and Worcestershire sauce one in 5 mins. And a bag of ready salted. Can of coke as a treat as well.
It’s strange that when you mention toasties the machine comes out and you will have 3 in a week. The machine goes back in the cupboard and you forget about them for months.

We have one every weekend. The kids have half an hour turnaround between swimming and French school and they live them

My wife didn’t butter the outside of the bread. It was a disappointment and an effort to eat. The Worcestershire was the only saving grace. Dog got most of it when she wasnt looking. Now going to devour a galaxy selection box.
Last nights curry.

Best toastie ever.
In a George or a machine that seals the outside perimeter?

Toastie refers to the bread being "toasted", it has nowt to do with the filling. If you like cheese, have it, but corned dog with a splash of hammond's chop sauce and thinly sliced onions is the dog's bollocks. I can't get Chop Sauce here so I have to lay in a bottle or three whenever I'm back in the UK. I'm not sure that the Chop sauce has quite the flavour that it used to have but, a sprinkling of pepper and a soupcon of chilli powder helps.
I'll admit to adding a bit of thinly sliced black pudding (bought in the UK) and even some blue stilton when it's all getting to it's sell by just to use it all up.
I'll have to become a cheese/bacon/black pudding smuggler again next time I visit.
