To see how far we have gone backwards the last 12 months

I did so the other day on a similar thread. We’re doing slightly better at this point compared to the same point last season.
Looking at just Millwall away we're worse off. Sure we beat Wigan away (replacement for Plymouth). That's 2 off top of my head. We've much improving to do.

Works better with Chaplin and Leif Davis as well. Davis and Broady have struck one of those understandings. Yesterday, some of the balls both played to each other and to Chappers and Hirsty defied belief. He's got to be worth £10 million now.
He's always looked class but been hampered by injuries. Ipswich have managed him extremely well to keep him fit.

People were posting on here roughly this time last year saying broadhead wouldn’t get a game for us and would only be 3rd choice!!! It would feel like us signing Haaland signing him now!
He’d not score in our team. Not way we play. We’re not creating, that’s the main thing.

That's exactly how far back we have gone marra. It's a mad downward spiral😉
You can’t deny at the mo we are not up to our form from last seasons end and don’t look like reproducing it. We need a few shrewd buys next month, never mind cheap youngsters from Timbuktu with a sell on value, we need experience, ready to go.

Evening mate. Need a defensive midfielder as the spine is weak. I think we have two forwards who can get goals, but we need the protection from a midfielder who can sit deep when a fullback overlaps. Not inverted fullbacks; that's Mogga being silly.

No, I'm saying that it's probably not the best yardstick to compare against last season, given that it doesn't prove we have gone backwards.
Yet last seasons side was better and performed to higher level. Its starting to look like a midtable finish is on the cards. Cracks were papered over by a loan player and as always happens with loans, we see them return to parent club and leave big gaps behind.

Ipswich play full on attacking football.

We don't.
I think the stat that backs up our style of football being so attacking is that we’ve conceded the most home goals in the entire league this season.

But since mid January have won 20 out of our last 21 league matches at Portman Road and this season have the best home record in England (9 wins from 10).

Yes we are leaking goals but if you average 3.2 goals a game at home, you’ll do well not to win most weeks.

I agree, we played a lot like that last season. This season we seem terrified to lose the ball. That's resulted in us playing deeper, slower and in front of our opposition.

Wns of the day, football is a high risk, high reward game. You're being in brave in your play this season, whilst we've been far too safe in ours.
