To everyone on here saying the Club Owner has no ambition

Why do they think Mowbray was sacked?

Have a think before you start with all of your comments man.

He was sacked because we will get someone who can do better.

Sacked isnt the right phrase, his contract was paid up and he left

Naivety doesn’t cover it. He’s a victim of a failed recruitment policy in last 12 months. However it’s always the Head Coach who loses his job not the tossers who try to run football clubs in an uncompetitive manner. They can recover the situation but only if the Head Coach is better than TM and is given championship quality players, something we have failed to do in two transfer windows whilst selling some our best and most experienced players.
I suspect we will see the lesser spotted DM and the even rarer Championship ready striker in January
Exactly

Totally agree,
The shit is not TM’s making, but let’s sack him and KS, Dodds will keep picking there wages and commission up.

January band our signings will be interesting-every man and his hound knows what we need -if we don’t at very least fill those two or three voids it will show -if we do -jobs a good un ( without losing key players )

How do you know that its not the other way around and Tony is frustrated with a lack of ambition with the club, this has caused friction and they've sacked him as a result?

None of us know what has been going on behind closed doors.

What we do know is that we've got one of the lowest wage bills in the league, no experienced striker and a very inexperienced squad which, while they've done a fantastic job, does make it a real challenge to succeed. However, none of that is Tony's doing.

He was sacked because on Saturday he came dangerously close to saying in public what many of us can already see.

That under this “model”, the “head coach” doesn’t only get ignored on transfers and squad building, but also doesn’t have free rein to pick the players he wants to pick.

It’s no coincidence that within 48 hours of alluding to that, he’s gone.
Fairy stories

He was sacked because he didn't tow the line.

“Fairy stories” that were enough to get him the sack. Clearly someone didn’t want anyone making the fairy stories public.
Again , fairy stories. He is a limited coach , was brought in to steady the ship. He did that and now his shortcomings are starting to show , as was predicted by some on here and by rovers fans. Our ownership aren’t going to sit back, he’s gone and we move on . But carry on with your fantasies.

There was a lot of criticism, particularly from fans of other clubs, when Lee Johnson was sacked with us in 3rd place in League One and only 2 points behind the then leaders Rotherham.

The club were spot on then as they could see we were on the decline, the change they made then got us promoted. Wether you agree with his sacking or not I think we can all see we were on the decline under Mowbray.
