Timing

His job was to win football matches. At least it should have been.

It’s a professional football club not a f***ing sports crèche.

No it isn't. His job was to create an environment to develop players to eventually win football matches. If we wanted a manager to win football matches he was an exceedingly bad choice.

I doubt they’ll be using that as the strapline for their next season ticket sales campaign.

To me the timing suggests they have an idea of replacement and some confidence they can make it happen. It's brutal and I'm surprised it's come this early but clearly the club want to act early.

Lee Johnson was absolutely a knee jerk and they were almost caught out with a lack of preparedness.

Here it feels like it's been on the cards a little while. The Norwich result will have given some hope but after the last 3 games I think it would have been seen that a continuation of our current form and we'd be out of the play off running.

Tell ya one thing how quick they get a replacement will tell us alot about these lot running the show any longer than a week and I'd say headless chickens
Of course it'll be a quick replacement. They'll be preparing the vacancy advertisement for the job sites as we speak, ready to start sifting through applications immediately after the two week deadline passes. I bet they've already started planning aptitude tests, group activities, panel interviews and DBS checks for the best candidates followed by a comprehensive induction programme.

We.dont fuck about when it comes to managerial appointments.
