Keen to try this out

Im looking for some advice on which interval timer to purchase to pair up with my Canon EOS700D.

Not looking to break the bank just something to get me started as i get used to the settings etc on the camera.

As above just get the cheap ones off amazon or ebay. The canon ones are a complete rip off and aren't any different.

A few on here are into time lapse photography. Buy two grands worth of gear then you don't see a photo from them for 3 years

Just get the Canon one. Had the TC80N3 for my 20D, 30D, 5D and 6D and it has served me faithfully for 10 years.

if you dont fancy shelling out for the 80N3 type and you're handy with a soldering iron there are plenty of plans to build one. You can hack a calculator to do the job too.
