There was a bloke at the Warwickshire game who said there had been some company working on it all the previous week and at the Derbyshire game there's been a couple of officials in there each morning at 10am pottering about...judging by the size of one of them perhaps they were testing the reinforced structure.;)



There was an article a few years ago in Private Eye when some Daily Torygraph journalist informed them that instead of sending reporters to each of the county grounds they merely got the stuff from Cricinfo.:eek:

In fairness, it would be possible to write a report of the day's play just by looking at the scorecard and watching the match highlights on the website.
