I really hope I'm wrong but it would be so typical we do this. The last 4 years our pre-season prep has been a joke. This year it looked good on paper and we are doing all the right things then we get this. So frustrating.I dont like this Scenario
Another monumental cockup preseason for the umpteenth year.I really hope I'm wrong but it would be so typical we do this. The last 4 years our pre-season prep has been a joke. This year it looked good on paper and we are doing all the right things then we get this. So frustrating.
I don't think it is.
Most fans I speak to who don't get on this board are prepared to wait and see what happens. Certainly wouldn't boo allardyce at Hartlepool, for example, if he is still in charge.
I think it's a case of this board getting a bit hysterical and impatient. Not for the first time.
There has to be a cut off point though when a decision has to be made. But we aren't there yet imo.
Hope he's still the manager for years to come tbh.
Yes, that is exactly the problem. The initial response from the board of our beloved club was strong, clear and admirable. I think most people will have been at least content with it.Most that I talk to who are regulars at the SOL think it is time for a decision either way

Yes. We should set it as Monday close of business and make it 100% clear that it it it is a rocks old, copper bottom eddeadline.differ on that, imo there is an outline offer, if not we should set an ultimatum

But this has dragged on and continues to seriously damage our club. Clearly the FA couldn't care less.
What is needed, not tomorrow, but today, is another strong statement to the FA. In addition the club needs to communicate with Sam. Both need to be told that tomorrow, Monday is the final day when Sam is authorised to talk with the FA on this topic. At he end of tomorrow the club requires a clear notification of the decision the FA and Sam have taken.
Tuesday morning will otherwise begin with Sam as our manager without permission to talk with them further on this topic.
They are abusing our honesty and unwarranted patience. It needs to stop now.

How many of us can imagine Arsenal putting up with such absolute contempt for our club? The FA would not dare.

Sorry about the prediction tve text bollocks. But you get the idea.
Maybe the fa are dragging their heels knowing we need to act, and maybe in the process saving them paying compo if we push Sam out the door.We need to start playing hardball, assuming Sam doesn't have a break clause for the England job we should demand a stupid amount of compensation from the FA to release him.
This will cause either the FA to move on or it it will cause Sam to quit and then we can move on.
Surely if Sam quits without having the clubs blessing we could legally prevent him from taking up another job for a year, that will be no good for the FAMaybe the fa are dragging their heels knowing we need to act, and maybe in the process saving them paying compo if we push Sam out the door.
