Tide Is Turning

The longer this drags out the more the fans are getting pissed off with the current situation
Noticed a marked shift from support for Sam a week or so to now realisation we are in no mans land in a very important period for the club
Decision has to be made next week either way
it should have been made last week

I'm not usually a bed wetter, but I'm really starting to get anxious about the fact that we are less than 4 weeks away from the start of the season and we more or less don't have a manager.

Hopefully by Wednesday evening we will know what is happening.

My fear is if he stays and we start off shite then the knives will be out, alternatively if he stays -signs a bit of quality, starts picking points up straight away then it'll all be forgiven .

It's a difficult one,as Sam-The Fa-SAFC have all done nothing wrong .but for the good of the club someone needs to act in the next day or two out of those three parties.

I disagree with that bit. The FA have absolutely done something wrong. If they really cared about the damage they are inflicting on both SAFC and Bournemouth FC they could have had Howe interviewed as a matter of urgency. If Howe was interested he would have dropped what he was doing and returned from America to attend an interview.

This indicates two things, for me. Firstly, the FA actually want Howe more than they want Allardyce, and are prepared to wait for him to come for interview in his own sweet time, and secondly, Howe isn't particularly interested or he would have been back like a shot for interview. So, while we wait for Howe to turn the job down, our pre-season is khyboshed and we lose our manager at the end of it all.

I think the club needs to give Sam an ultimatum. Surely Sam must have a degree of emotional investment in SAFC after last season's goings-on and the crowd's demonstrations of affection for him? He will lose that aspect with the England gig. It's the highest paid managerial job for a reason: it's a terrible job!

The people who are hysterical have been that way since the news broke.

It will need wrapping up at some point but I don't really see the fuss yet.
^^^^^^^^
Someone you would want next to you in the trenches.

Absolute disgrace ,the club should be putting their foot down as one way or another this needs sorting as last thing we need is another shite start to a season!

Completely agree give BSA an ultimatum f**k the FA off or we'll sack you 1 weeks notice.Charge him with bringing the club into disrepute and dereliction of duty. What the hell the FA want with a 61 yr old to lead the team for how long ?

Can see us going out the France/Switzerland wherever it f***ing is with Bracewell and Stockdale in charge, no new signings, limp through the three games then return to appoint a totally random manager, sign a load of average players get spanked of Dortmund then go into new season totally unprepared and a complete shambles. Why is it we always go into every pre-season in a worse state than we ended the previous season. We finished on such a high note plying well and everyone positive, all we needed to do was tie down M'Vila and Yedlin nice and early then at least we are starting with the same base of a squad for once but oh no this is what we get instead.
