The longer this drags out the more the fans are getting pissed off with the current situation
Noticed a marked shift from support for Sam a week or so to now realisation we are in no mans land in a very important period for the club
Decision has to be made next week either way
I don't think it is.
Most fans I speak to who don't get on this board are prepared to wait and see what happens. Certainly wouldn't boo allardyce at Hartlepool, for example, if he is still in charge.
I think it's a case of this board getting a bit hysterical and impatient. Not for the first time.
There has to be a cut off point though when a decision has to be made. But we aren't there yet imo.
Hope he's still the manager for years to come tbh.

Sam can't sign players as he can't commit to the club
Same here. Everyone I've talked to, all season card holders and all live in Sunderland are concerned about the lack of transfer activity.
It looks as though history is repeating itself.
It does matter because some posters are suggesting it's only a few bed-wetting fannys who are wanting something done very very soon.
I've also talked to people who live in Sunderland, and the surrounding areas. Just to back up my opinion, because that sort of stuff matters.
The fact he hasn't made a statement is down to the fact theres nothing to say. Up to the point the FA appoint someone he wont know himself if he has it or not. It's obvious he's gone otherwise he would make a statement. The silence from SA/SAFC/FA shows just how much they are concerned about the supporters.
He's been given the outline offer IMO but won't say anything until it is put to paper, understandable , but very annoying from our perspective. The club need to act or failing that explain their position to people who have bought season tickets at great expense (in good faith)I think its clear that the heat is on Sam now and we cannot simply accept that the FA can take as long as they like whilst our pre season grinds to a halt. Its going to be up to him to tell them that we need a decision next week or he and SAFC have a decision to make. I assume we already have Moyes on standby, so unless Sam or the FA decides what they are doing, we may have to force the position back to our favour.
Change the record fattyOp is a mag

I think it's now a majority and if it is Sam's position is becoming very difficult.
differ on that, imo there is an outline offer, if not we should set an ultimatumThe fact he hasn't made a statement is down to the fact theres nothing to say. Up to the point the FA appoint someone he wont know himself if he has it or not.
He lives in Wales - can't really have his finger on the pulse in the north east can he ?I'm sorry but I don't believe they were all patient considering how our summer transfer activities have panned out the last 4 or 5 years.
