If you bought a pair of jeans online, they got delivered and they were 3/4 length, would you be happy if they said “you can’t have a refund, but you can have 25% off a full price pair” would you be satisfied?

Give over man that's totally different and you know it.

Ps who should pay for the weather, SAFC, Accrington, the FA, god..........

To be fair, if I went to the cinema and got turfed out an hour into the movie because of an electrical failure or something, i wouldn't expect to have to pay for a second ticket to see it again. Regardless of staff needing paying etc...

You’d expect to pay again? Seriously?!

There was a picture on his Twitter feed with a rough calculation of his gate takings yesterday. It was under £70k. That wouldn't cover the wages for Catts and Oviedo for a week. Out of that he has to meet his own players wages and all the match day overheads. Accrington's annual turnover isn't disclosed at CH, because it's classed as a micro-company, but their turnover is probably not much more than £3m. They simply can't afford a one-match freebie.

But to an extent if the cinemas equipment breaks that’s their responsibility, the weather or the decision of the referee wasn’t Accrington Stanley’s responsibility

It was the weather that ruined it. It was nobody's fault.

I don't expect a free/reduced ticket or travel. When you book to go to an outdoor event in the winter there's always a risk it might be cancelled for weather related reasons. The businesses involved still have their overheads to pay and shouldn't be pressured into making a loss on the replay for something that was beyond their control.

It was a friendly?

It doesn’t count for anything so in effect that’s what it is yes.

For those saying they could do anything, they could have went to any hardware store and bought a couple of hundred quids worth of tarpaulins and covered the pitch a few days previously, when the weather set in.

Wahey somebody finally get's it. You would think they turned the sprinklers on according to some on here. Its clearly stated in Accringtons ticket purchasing t&cs what the policy is and by the efl.
Admittedly I wasn’t there so it had no financial implications for me. But, if I had been, I know I wouldn’t be expecting a return free ticket. These things happen.
