Get a grip! They are in the entertainment business, if you went to the cinema, or theatre and the performance was curtailed you would expect and get either a refund or a replacement ticket. AS advertised a football match that they were unable to complete, furthermore under league rules this game has to be replayed just happens that the game we are talking about is against Sunderland, the biggest cash cow the league. So aye the chairman seems a canny fella, sees the chance of making a few extra pounds at the expense of ripping decent hard working folk off. Hope the bastards disappear back into the mire of non-league football asap .
How can you be exploited by the weather mate? The least they could do is offer us a pint or something. All people want is a gesture and to not feel exploited.
Dedication mate.I’m still amazed people travelled that far for a friendly
Who says they won't? Nothing has happened yet apart from being told you won't get free entry. The least they could do is offer us a pint or something. All people want is a gesture and to not feel exploited.
You can't be.How can you be exploited by the weather mate?
Point is it’s no ones fault but natures so why would you feel exploited if you don’t get a minimum of a free pint? You can't be.
What's your point?

I can’t see why they’re under any obligation, moral or otherwise to do anything of the sort. It would be very generous of them if they did, but I’d fully understand, and wouldn’t think any less of them if they didn’t.I'm not blaming them for the game being called off. I'm not blaming anyone for anything.
I'm saying that people might be a bit pissed because it 'appears' that Stanley see this as a way to make some extra money out of the postponement - and that's money comes directly from Sunderland fans.
If they do the game at cost price (policing, staffing etc) then wonderful. If not, then maybe they could just offer us a small gesture, like a pint, for paying twice and coming back.

Ok mate.I didn’t say they’re obliged. I’m just saying maybe they could.
Most peoples tickets were just paper mache by the end of the matchAfter the match a guy on the tannoy said keep your tickets as they will be valid for the replay iirc
Aye, as I said earlier on the thread, those of us that were there don't seem to be the ones complaining in the main. The most indignant on here, the OP being the stand out, were watching it on a stream. It's weird. When we got beat 8 nowt at Southampton most on here said they didn't want their money back. Come to think of it, like Saturday, refunds weren't mentioned by us who there it started on social media.
