Ticket sales for Sunday

People can't help themselves.

All we hear is how the price of going to football is to high for the average fan and clubs don't care about the supporters. But when the club gives away free tickets or deals on them, the same people give out.

The club shop was doing a deal. If you spend £50 you got 2 free tickets. My two kids have been begging me to bring them to a match. So I decided to bring them for their birthday. For £100 I got 2 full kits and 4 tickets. That's bloody brilliant.
Also gets the next generation hooked as well, same with the schools. The club is missing a trick if not doing things like that. A cheap school ticket, get them hooked, a season card the year after or after that. The bairns school get them every so often, 2 for £20. I'll wait take the offer up in a couple of years for the lad, but that'll lead to a Sunderland scarf/strip/coat. It's actually good business sense and the club looking after the local community and making it as accessible as possible and for people to go. Never understood the criticism of it one bit. They're doing a good thing here and should be credited for it if anything. People will look for anything to have a twist and moan about the club.

It's the same as company's getting tickets and giving them to their staff. These companies probably stick a few quid in for advertising and coperate tickets/boxes. If say one of the big call centres owns two boxes and buys half a dozen season tickets each year, then why not offer additional tickets. Like you say it makes very good business sense. Even smaller companies if they put an advertising board up for a season, as part of the deal they get four match tickets. It's an incentive but they're still paying in a way because they have paid for the board

I see loads of posts like this. Did you even look at the stadium plan? There are 5 areas showing orange which have loads of seats remaining like the image below. I really can't understand how people can't 'find' these 'seats together'!

Logon or register to see this image

I did notice some orange sections in a couple of the corners of the top stand but not keen on the view so didn't go into them.

Interetsingly enough the 'quick seat finder' found no seats together in any areas.

I've got rellies up from Lancs, hoping to show them a proper atmosphere (personally I think they're coming to see Leicester) and a night round the city centre Saturday night. Hope the towns canny never been for years !!!

Strange one.It has season ticket holders in it, so I am surprised it is not on sale.
It is either
a) getting held back as segragation, to allow Leics to have P24 and P26.Relocation of ST holders
b) held back to investigate possible infiltration
c) sold out already (doubtful)
d) some other reason

I know that Leicester supporters' will be in Block P24, I have friends travelling up for the match with tickets in that section. I'm in P23.
We normally only give big away support followings seats in P24.

Thanks Fact Hunt , that answers it.
I will take 340 seats (p22) out of the equation (segregation), and increase my Leicester factor by 450 ( P24 +P26)
2,028 left means
44,884 sold.

My mate is selfish enough to have his wedding on Sunday so me and the boys are going to that instead!!

He's a good lad like and totes worth it (just in case you are reading this Greg)

Very well put.

What is it with these sad wankers who are absolutely f***ing desperate to find a way to prove we've only sold a handful of tickets?
