First cup final since '92 and people are twisting about where they sit.
Im sure people would pay double to sit on the roof

Where is your ticket out of interest?

Because, if you were in my position and asked to be behind the goal, paid £72 and found yourself in row 1 then I'd imagine you'd be a bit annoyed.

I bought my Wembley ticket on the phone on Monday afternoon. I asked for category 3 and even asked if I could get a seat behind the goal.

I got my ticket in the post on Wednesday. Its row 1 in one of the blocks on the side of the pitch towards the corner .

I've now rang today asking if I could change and they've basically told us to fuck off. The man on the phone was a patronising bellend and spoke to us like I was thickest person on the planet (obvious joke opportunity here). Been told there is no way I can change my ticket for another.

I know some of you will say I should be grateful to get a ticket but spending £72 to have to sit with a poor view is shocking in my opinion. Also seems unfair that those people in phase 1 like myself are going to get worst seats than those in phase 2.

Phase 2 people should get "worst" tickets than you?

I've paid £72 for a seat with a very poor view. I asked if I could swap it and they couldn't even sympathise with me. I'm entitled to be pissed off.[DOUBLEPOST=1391688957][/DOUBLEPOST]

Agree it's not ideal but I think I've given pretty good reasons why they should do it in the way they are. I do think they could have offered some kind of possibility of a swap though, eg "We can't guarantee we'll be able to, but at the end of the week we'll see if we've got an odd seat somewhere else we can swap with yours." Wouldn't cost them anything to do that.

Lower tier in the corner, paid 72 as well. Id have picked somewhere different if I could but its a hard job selling 32k tickets to meet everyones requests. Im just over the moon we'll see the lads at wembley

If people go to away games, accumulate points and get in there early to get a Wembley ticket, then there should be some sort of option to choose your tickets. Regardless, they are going to sell out and it's not that much of a chore for the TO to do it this way. And it's the fairest way.

Lots of people in Phase 2 will have multiple loyalty points, other will be out longest serving season ticket holders. They only used the loyalty system as a crude way to split demand, not as some sort of reward.[DOUBLEPOST=1391689996][/DOUBLEPOST]
From what I've heard from a very credible source there isn't going to be a phase 3. Sorry I know that's annoying without a source but it is more than someone's job is worth for me to say

You're wrong there like. Source, lad called Andy, he knows his ticketing stuff.

The problem with letting people pick and choose wherever means there could be loads of single seats dotted around which no one wants as they want to sit with their mates. This leads to more people getting pissed off so the best thing for the club to do is to fill up blocks as they go along. Whatever way the club sold the tickets, it would leave some annoyed.

SoZ marra but phase 3 has already been confirmed.

I get that, but if that's the case to it consistently. For example, I know people sitting in the lower bowl for £72 tickets, then others who are in the upper tier. You'd think they'd start with one or the other and fill it up consistently. What's really pissed me off about this whole thing is being misinformed by them. Told I'd be sitting in lower then receive my ticket for the upper.

They said you could select a price band, not which tier to be fair. I do get why you're pissed off though.
