harrowing stuff but will hopefully raise awareness

the screen when it filled up with all the places this has happened and presumably continues to happen. i assume the majority of the scum featured in this case are now out aswell

Yup. How they're sitting with burglary victims or rtc casualties and expressing empathy with them one day and concocting an alibi with the offenders the next is the height of hypocrasy.

    The "singular commonality"?

And you've got the nerve to say someone must do better.

It's unbelievable! I acknowledge the need to not demonise an entire religion but fuck me man, there's been 12 year old girls getting raped with impunity by a 90 per cent homogeneous religious community and this bloke says it's the night time workers who are to blame. With zero evidence for this claim.

  6. That's what I hope. I hope that young vulnerable girls of similar backgrounds of those abused identify with the child actors in this and avoid or disclose any grooming or abuse happening or that has happened in the past.
The more any child abuse is identified it can be put to a stop, appropriate support can be given and the perpetrators get took off our streets, thus protecting other vulnerable young girls who could fall pray to the grooming and abuse.

You can hope but I despair at the hopelessness of some of these young kids futures!

He's got no argument so resorts to slurs of racism.

  9. Same here mate.
In all of my years on this planet I have witnessed the bad deal the impoverished areas receive from successive governments who think that sticking plasters heal gaping large wounds. We as a society have many priorities wrong, community spirit is fastly fading and it pisses me off to hear government after government shout out shallow words about making society equal.
I wanted to throw my slippers at the TV screen when I watched Theresa May be the next one to echo these hollow words of 'Equality and opportunity'. She can fuck right off with her pie in the sky claptrap, along with her party who have attacked such disadvantaged young people over 7 years (Directly and indirectly) with their austerity measures.

Ask any detective whose dealt with this type of offender and they will confirm that they are not all Pakistani, not all Asian, not all Muslims, some involved aren't even men. the one thing that ties them altogether, is that they know each other from working as taxi drivers, delivery drivers, garage workers, in take away shops etc. I'm not sure why you find that so incredible but as I say, it is what it is and however much that upsets you, you'll have to find a way to come to terms with it.

    Absolutely spot on marra!
I can't believe some people except the claptrap coming out of Mays gob and will actually vote for her and her cronies.
The public gets what the public wants eh?

  12. That's why I'm a great believer in a proper equal education for all, so that more people from all backgrounds will learn to think more for themselves, become more impowered and question those in power and their decisions with a social consciousness in mind.

Those young girls could have been at school running clubs and societies and exceling in lifeif they were born into a more affluent background.

Education is always the first thing Tories attack.
They rely on the uneducated to keep them in power!

  14. Aye, along with filling minds with false dreams and promises, destroying communities and hoping to get enough votes from the 'I'm alright Jack' lot.

Was Holly's child from the rapes like? Didn't think that was the crack?

Also, you'd need to test the foetus to find out who it's father was regardless of others.

Been watching this tonight, really terrible, sad story, I can't get my head round why that lass didn't just go home to her parents house at the start. I knaa she fell out with her old man but look at the alternative!

The alternative was just staying away and getting pissed until the day she was raped. By that point it was too late as she was then threatened and felt trapped.

Authorities have spoken out and said there is problem within the Pakistani community with this abhorrent behaviour. Groups of Asian men grooming and trafficking white vulnerable girls. Liberal apologists man, wake up ya daft Kernt!

@JonMc & @janiep I think you should read the article above and then get in touch with Ceop and give them a bit of your righteous indignation about not differentiating between types of abuse/abusers.

“Type 1 offenders” target young people “on the basis of their vulnerability, rather than as a result of a specific preferential sexual interest in children”. This is exactly what these grooming gangs are - Type 1 offenders, unlike the paedo gangs you like to bring up as examples of not all abusers being asian/muslim - these are type 2 offenders according to Ceop.
