Thoughts on Seelt?

I'm sure before he came on you could see Mike Dodds suggesting to Mowbray to put O'nien to right back. Obviously ignored

Weird people thought he was poor. Thought he looked capable given he was played out of position. Passed fine and made some good tackles. Not amazing but thought looked like there is something there to build on.

Looked ok with the ball. Good passing accuracy and carried it well

I thought he was on his heels at the back post for the goal that Clarke put in that terrible tackle for

The same people slagging off this kid will be the same ones who said Kirchhoff was shit after one game.
He played 60 mins out of position against a team with an extra man. Give him a run of games at least before you write him off FFS.
This board gets worse!!!!!!

There is nothing wrong with players getting up to speed in the under 21s, it’s not as easy a league as people think.

Auoichiche, Rigg, Huggins and Bennette have been playing there and looked a cut above. Seelt and Triantis have been playing there and at the moment look ordinary. They more than anyone will benefit and they will ultimately be more ready for the first team.

It shouldn‘t be a question of throwing someone into the first team and hoping they will suddenly step up, important points are at stake. People cite Ekwah as an example but he was used to the 21s at West Ham and also here before he came into the team. I’m hoping Seelt will make it but once he looks better than Crompton and Johnson he will have earned his place and be more confident when he comes in.
I agree with this mind.

Our signings are generally perceived to be first team ready, but the reality is some are development players. Hemir, seelt, and triantis all fall into this category. They're young lads learning their trade and the reality is they probably aren't ready for top end championship football.

The only issue is our squad exposes some of them to the first team earlier than is ideal to do so.

Thought he was ok. Technically decent. If he’s gonna make it here, he needs, as TM often says, to become a warrior. I would’nt pour blame on him for the goals from their left but I understand those who would. Hume at his best might have done better.

Jones was on fire tbh. Couldn’t see any Championship fullback stopping him on Sunday

Haway man, half of the team looked shite yesterday, Clarke, Hume, Neil, Burstow, Ba, all had shite games, Seelt looked comfortable at times & exposed at others. He needs game time, we should be rotating more when the game is in the bag imo.

Ba and Neil didn't have shite games.

As soon as they're wrong they'll happily "hold their hands up" and brush it off, explaining that they were wrong and the player is actually class.

Learning absolutely nowt from the experience, ready to write off some young lad exactly the same next time. Zero consideration about what they do for young lads confidence/ impact players mental health when they read all about it online in the meantime.

Not looked out of place, looks a solid signing. Hope to see more of him and Rusyn after the international break.
looks like a mobile physical defender i just dont think his footy mind/brain is up to championship speed yet but that will come with games ...very good prospect in my book!
