Thoughts on Seelt?

Like to see him get some minutes at centre back next time that we're comfortably ahead in a match as Ballard will probably pick up a 5th yellow & be suspended for a match soon.

Him and Ba are on 3 yellow cards. O'Nien, Cirkin, Bairstow and Pritchard on 2. Got to get past the Milwall game on 2nd December before the cut off point comes into play.

Not according to:

He did a good hard kick at the goal, so there's that. Hard to say otherwise, they were all a mess in the second half.

Is the sensible answer yet plenty of the dickheads on here have already rushed to judgement

Yet then Mowbray would have been pilloried when we inevitably conceded for breaking up the Ballard and Onien partnership

He's going to have to break that partnership up v Stoke surely with Neil suspended? Unless Ekwah is some sort of Bionic Man (unlikeky given how long long he's been out with a dead leg)

Patto

Hume
Seelt
Ballard
Huggins/Cirkin/Alese/Taylor

O'Nien
Jobe

Ba
Roberts
Clarke

Burstow

One thing I'm sure of is he isn't a fullback. Was tore a new one far too much but not quite as much as Clarke when Mowbray decided he could play left/wing back
In fairness Clarke has filled that role before. However I was surprised he played him FB. We were all over the place when Neil got sent off
He got caught wrong side of his man for their second goal but had some promising moments including a very good shot.
Should have partnered DB with 09 going to full back. We weren’t really at it before the sending off in all fairness.

You’re probably right. 2nd half we were very naive. Boro were decent enough without being spectacular but with 10 we were so open and as average as they were they just picked us off.

Thought he was one of the few positives. Looked like a footballer. Despite what the naysayers say I think he can play RB. It was an awful game to come into be he looked OK. Well done Jensen.

I like the way he carries himself and him and Ballard will strike up a good understanding before long.

I love Luke, but he’s going to be needed at full back or midfield, and last two games he should’ve conceded a pen

He can but in the same way Vergini could.

Impossible to make judgement considering he was playing out of position.

Surprised he hasn't played more at CB given how highly he was rated with Burnley going all out for him in January.

I thought the plan would have been a Ballard/Seelt first choice partnership.
