Thoughts on Seelt?

At some point either Seelt or Triantis are going to have to start as Ballard and O9 wont play every game given we seem to turn fit young players into 50 year old men during training.

I can see his potential but he looks rusty as hell. Needs a run of games before we'll know if he'll ever make it. It could go either way.

Thought he looked very composed after coming on in the first half but after the break the whole thing was a shit show and he struggled, hard one to judge, I won’t be writing him off just yet like some of the numptys on here.

I didn't know what to make of him. He did two things that most of our team seemed incapable of doing - holding the ball and passing it to one of our players. But he wasn't greatly positive and probably should have done better for the first goal.

When Mowbray brought him on I was suprised he didn’t shift O’Nien to right back and have him playing centrally.

Would have made more sense to me, that and the decision to bring on Rigg at 2-0 while having Rusyn, Hemir & Bennette on the bench.

Can’t really judge him on that game, I’d have played him centre back and pushed O’Nein to full back

I thought he did OK under the circumstances.

Mental to see people saying he was shit when we were a man down and he was out of position.

What a class day I’ve had

From the responses he's ranged from a shite none League player to having done extremely well and should start next game, possibly in midfield!

I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle as always! Think he did OK, looked a bit nervy but his touch and positioning was reasonable, unlucky with his shot which he wellied! Left exposed after the sending off as well. Don't think he's ready to become a regular yet.

Seelt needs some more 21s outings to get him up to speed.

Totally disagree. What he needs is a regular run of games in the first team in his natural position not playing U21's football which is not going to fully equip him playing Championship football. Fair enough, give him a run out during the international break to get some minutes in his legs but it's best for him to be playing alongside who's going to be his regular team mates.

Looks composed on the ball and his height is great at set pieces.

Never a full back though.

Commentator on my stream called him Sleet. Thought it was a slip of the tongue at first, but he kept it all the way through.

Not much else you can say about him based on today. He looked a bit nervous maybe, but so did Ekwah in his first few games. He looked like a young lad in a new country playing out of position in a team that was one player down.
