The fella deserves a thread of his own, very talented. Flat Earth has to be one of my all-time favourite tracks.

The first time I heard Prefab Sprout (about 86), I said to my mate that it was reminiscent of TD, at which point he enlightened me to TD's production of Steve McQueen.

Gonna be listening to some tonight... I'm sure he sang a song about Marley Potts. Screen Kiss?

Careful now. You'll have the SMB resident thick shits claiming that his 'Flat Earth' album is really a documentary.

Great artist like. I have a concert of his taped off radio one in the eighties. Dissidents, One of Our Submarines, Airwaves, Hyperactive, I Scare Myself - all class!

Nee idea mate, it was a play on the name Dolby for comedic affect.;)
You do know that Dolby, as in the hi-tech sound quality company, tried to force dear Thomas to change his name, claiming that people might confuse the two or somesuch.
