This weeks post Altidore thread

:lol: Great idea. There's an owld dear in the East Stand who could do a better job than Altidore, the hapless f***ing clown. He's absolutely garbage.
I'd rather see one of our fans just get on and enjoy themselves. Lad I know goes to the match in his wheelchair and can do stunts. That would be more entertaining than watching him stood about.

flog him back to the dutch, everyone rates him in America, send him back there, f***ing hell i love gus like but im baffled to fuck why hes even on the bench tbh[DOUBLEPOST=1390675021][/DOUBLEPOST]
Easier said then done mate.

I'm not contributing to this thread, cos every time I say anything about altidore I get abused to fuck. Glad to see more and more people are seeing him for what he actually is. I would question anybody that can defend his ability as a player

Not defending Altidore, but Giac are was our worst player by a country mile today and cost the same as Altidore so I don't know why there are 15 pages or so of comments against Altidore and one thread on page 2 with 20 comments about Giac. Fletcher has 1 goal in 16 games. Ji was even worse than Altidore. For whatever reason many players don't seem to do well when they come to Sunderland. That doesn't mean they are bad players. For example, a guy who can start for Juventus should be good enough to play against Kidderminster.

i think this is the point to be honest, these are internationals who have struggled to make any kind of impact against a non league side.
i would usually agree with the 'lack of service' call but there were some decent crosses today and i cannot remember one where jozy actually attacked it...if he can only score when the ball is played just the way he wants it then he will never improve.
as for giac, in all honesty with his background and experience i expected him to run rings round them today, starting to look very similar to sess with a 1 in 5 ratio :(

"Problem with Sunderland is they are filled with narcissists who think they are good, when in fact they aren't. Ki is a selfish douchebag with history of attitude problems on and off the field. In fact, Korea Republic national team coach Hong is actually considering dropping Ki from WC team. "

Its just not working. He looks shot to bits.
What a terrible article. And that comment that you quoted - where do Americans even come up with this shit? The unqualified allegations are bad enough. Why would one of Ki's biggest proponents leave him off the world cup squad?[DOUBLEPOST=1390678269][/DOUBLEPOST]
Ji was even worse than Altidore.

Statistics say otherwise.

we must be looking to move him on but we need someone in. At the moment either with Altidore or Fletcher it's like we're playing with ten

I just hope we are willing to let him go cut price as there isn't a snowballs chance in hell we'll recoup much of that 6 million.

What statistics? At any rate, the coaching staff thought he was worse.

Stoke look to be salvaging something out of Maurice Edo. Tbf, if Altidore decides to go back to the US, there should be plenty of American clubs willing to pay over the odds as has happened to Bradley.

More goals in his Sunderland career at this point. And more goals per minutes played. Altidore was the big signing of the summer for that position. He's failed miserably.

While he plodded against a non-league side today (I just watched), Ji just scored in his first match back to FCA against his future club BVB.

I hope your right mate, I honestly think a move for Jozy would be good for both parties considering the price is right.

today was a new low for me at times he was painful to watch, its just not going to happen for him is it? that youtube video of him looking like pele should be reported!

I really can't be arsed to read the previous comments but today I witnessed the worst performance I have EVER seen from a Sunderland centre forward. How is the man rated? He made no effort at all to "work the channels", get on the end of a cross or make himself available for any sort of defence splitting pass or otherwise. The man is stealing a living.
