This is going to be unpopular

Bit of old ddchol mentality there.what your saying is sell atop class player in order to purchase two average players.

This is the culture that develops among fans who cannot imagine actually winning anything

Or your could actually read my argument instead of making up what I have said and implied and realise that you've just made up something to argue against?

they paid 7 million for him or something close, they're not gonna just sell him and he wont come here anyway.

They sold Bilyaletdinov and Saha before signing him to be able to afford him.

You're right though, he wouldn't come here - we missed the chance when he was at Rangers  He's f***ing superb - miles better than Papiss Cisse aswell.

This.

Anyone advocating him on the wing needs to remember he started there for us and was pretty gash.
I disagree. He always looked threatening but for whatever reason things just weren't working for him, and you have to remember he was still getting used to the fast-tempo, hard challenging Premier League, most foreigners don't reach their peak until they've had a few months to settle.

His cross for Bendtner at Man City shows he could definitely play there, and like I say it's the position he made his name in in France. It must surely be worth a go for the last couple of games.

Neutral opinion....watched him closely today and he pulled Bolton players all over with his movement but then did very little with possession (mainly due to the lack of support. His perfect role would be the Cahill role at Everton but he hasn't got the aerial ability, out wide he would be very similar to Osman I think so if you get anywhere near £15m I would snap their hands off and trust MON with it.

McClean is the best player SAFC have going forward. Just my opinion mind.

Oh and LOL at Jelavic....if you have £20m+ perhaps.

Why on earth would Jelavic leave Everton for us?

We missed the great big Croatian boat when Rangers went into admin..

Aye, we could give it a go I suppose but I reckon accomodating him in a 442 is very difficult.

We should have done it today though, why Campbell didn't start as a striker was ridiculous.

Kind of what I'm getting at. He is a good player, no doubt. However, he has one position and that dictates how the entire team plays. With that, when he is poor, we are generally poor. Is it worth sticking with that and putting all of our eggs in Sessegnon's basket or sell him for a decent wedge and get a couple or few players that will give us more options and make us a better team albeit a less talented?

but if we get a decent bid for Sessengon I'd sell him. I'm on about 11m plus.

On his day he is great but we can't build our team around him as he is far too inconsistent.

Crap again today and too often makes the wrong decision.

I think we could become a better team by selling him and using the money on a couple of others.

Loads of abuse will no doubt ensue but he just doesn't do enough, often enough.

my god thank fuck mon is our manager and not some fuckwit like you
sess is by far and away the best player at the club and in fact the most exciting player i have seen at safc for 27 years of watching them.
yes he was poor today and has been a bit off colour lately but get a f***ing grip man which player plays well every week.
yes he has some floors but who doesn't do you think a club like ours are going to sign superstars who are amazing week in week out
unreal

So you admit selling him would be purely a financial decision?

Because ideally we'd keep him and strengten on top of that.
