but if we get a decent bid for Sessengon I'd sell him. I'm on about 11m plus.

On his day he is great but we can't build our team around him as he is far too inconsistent.

Crap again today and too often makes the wrong decision.

I think we could become a better team by selling him and using the money on a couple of others.

Loads of abuse will no doubt ensue but he just doesn't do enough, often enough.

We dont use/go through him enough IMO.

He isn't the complete player (if he was he'd been elsewhere anyway) but he's a very good player.

We should be looking for £15m plus if we do sell him, £11m is far too low considering what Henderson (allegedly) went for. All Henderson has on him is age, Sess is better in all other respects.

Alternatively we could try and keep our best players for once and concentrate on strengthening areas which we need. Such as the fullbacks.

We should stick him on the wing, you know, the position where he made his name at PSG.

He'd certainly be a better option than Campbell or Larsson and we could try a different system to go along with the change.

The problem is we don't have enough people showing for the ball when he has it. Nor do we have many players (often any players) driving forward into the box. Bendtner tends to spend most of the time on the wing, Campbell stuck to the wing which is fine but how many crosses did he deliver into the area? How many times did he beat his man?

When Cattermole and Colback are in midfield we also have two players that don't tend to get forward to try and score. We need more attacking threats for Sessegnon to really shine. The lad is great and I'd hate to lose him. £11m?! That would be cheap for a player with his ability.

It would be a monumental mistake.

If he's sold it will be because he wants away.

No, he doesn't do it every game, but then who does?

£11m on a couple of others? That gets you two Craig Gardners.

When you get lucky and buy a gem for £6m you do everything you can to kep hold of him.

It depends on Short's finances really. If we need to sell to buy, he is our biggest asset financially.

Personally though I'd like to keep him and augment that with more quality players. Who knows what our finances allow though.

We already tried that, he was terrible.

Wigan at home last season (in an emergency when he played more central) was the start of his SAFC career.

I would be happy to let him go if the money was right.....2 shots on target in the last 11 games (nearly a 3rd of a season) is simply not good enough....Great player on his day but seems to do a lot of running into blind alleys and trying to take on two or three players when there is a simple pass to be had.....

My biggest worry though is if we play Sess as one attacking player, an attacking player who doesnt score many and is creating less and less then we have to play just one up front.....We have seen this season that this leaves us totally toothless.....

To me he either plays as an attacking central midfielder with two upfront or we let him go.

I'd also agree with this. After reading O'Neill's quotes this week about us playing entertaining football and wanting to score goals against Bolton I expected us to play two up front. That would have meant Sessegnon would play on the wing.

The team was basically the same as the side against Villa apart from the enforced changes. Had Gardner not been suspended and Larrsson fit to play then I don't think he'd have changed the side.

Ive said this for a while, out wide right and stretching defence's with 2 up front. Fair enough he isnt brilliant at crossing but the way he plays getting to the byline he doesnt need to.

2 up top isn't necessarily all that. If we can get a proper striker in instead of piss about artist Bendtner, Sess could work very well just behind that said striker.
