Things you learnt at school you have never used - ever.

I would have agreed at on time but I do a lot of woodwork and it really comes in handy drawing a scale drawing to get a sense of proportion and to estimate materials and fixing points etc
It came to mind recently when I was looking at some old plans from the 70s and 80s. All drawn very neatly. No doubt on a massive drawing board

My Dad used to work in the loft at Thompsons, he was mint at domestic woodwork. He’d knock me out if he was still around and he could see the mess I make lol Father in Law used to work in the drawing office at Pickies - all those skills gone from the area now I suppose.

Aye very true. Gone in the blink of an eye, or the blink of a new fangled computer screen

I bet you reply to this

Shooting fish in a barrel
It's a forum. You are meant to reply. The more I reply, the more obsessed and thicker you get. It's brilliant.🤣🤣🤣
I haven't been to see Nitty Nora, the Nit Nurse since I left school either. 🤣

Wish I had a better maths teacher at school like cos I've been much better at numbers and that since I left. Considered retaking my maths GCSE cos I failed it but neebody ever asks about that shit anymore.

Pythagoras therome.
He was also the inventor of Math Rock although it was quite a while after he made his musical discovery that we started to hear some actual tunes.

He died in 495BC

Battles released their first album in 2006.

A lad in my class got a job straight from school in Pickies drawing office and was forever bragging about how much he got and how stupid us lads were for doing an apprenticeship on the buildings. I wonder what he's doing now. 😊

I was thinking technical drawing too. On a big board with a massive ruler on it. Suppose it was still some sort of professional use in the 80s.....but was long gone by the time we actually left school
along with Art...the only thing i was any good at..at school

served me well in my working life..drawing boards replaced by Cad/Cam early eighties...now Autocad and numerous 3D Modelling software
