Alaska was owned by the Russians and the yanks bought it off them in the 19th century for what would only be about $120 million now.

The bloke they used as the body for Dr Manhattan in Watchmen got hit by a train filming an energy drink commercial and died aged 37.

Left Behind (2014), Nicholas Cage being Nicholas Cage in a disaster film, that should probably classed under disastrous or a big mistake. 2/10

Dolemite Is My Name. Thoroughly enjoyed this, probably one of Eddie Murphy’s best in a long while. Hilarious and poignant at the same time. 8/10

Why, were those particular facts on? Found them out on a Youtube video about stunt doubles and was reading about the Bering Strait.
There was an Alaska round on the other day. Capital city, who they bought it off etc.that tall fella sometimes expands on the answers at the end and may have tales about when the Russians sold it
