I seem to have erased that from memoryJack Ross setting up to defend a 1-0 lead at Fleetwood on the 2nd last game of the season (and subsequently losing 2-1), when two 3-0 wins would have got us up on goal difference.

5-1 at Rotherham, compounded by some of our fans singing a song that embarrassed me more than the team's inept performance.Reading the Jack Baldwin thread brought back some horrific memories from League 1…
Jack Ross not making a sub or changing the shape at half time during the 4-5 game against Coventry.
Signing Lee Burge after watching him in that first half against us.
Mandron’s equaliser against us just before Covid.
Grigg’s miss against MK Dons from inside the 6 yard box.
Some very bleak times during our League 1 spell.
I think I’d give up on football if we were ever relegated again.
Amazing how far we’ve come as a team/club on the field in such a short space of time.
Why would we not? An equaliser's an equaliser, irrespective of the level we find ourselves at. If you were at the match did you not cheer?Celebrating like we'd won the world cup after equalising in the last minute against Walsall..... Walsall.

Surely better to go light and show some passion than the polite ripples of motionless applause you see on the telly at The Etihad and Anfield...
Best thing that ever happened to us. We'd never have peddled Johnson then without that result.Bolton
That was an unbelievably slow and immobile backline. Loovens was the slowest player I've ever seen, he could not jump an inch either. He was just absolutely finished. That first game down there against Charlton, I know we ended up winning but seeing a centre back partnership of Alim Ozturk and Glenn Loovens struggle to walk without snapping a hamstring was depressing. Was like an over-40s backline.
The same in the Championship unfortunately. It must be us…The inept officiating.
I'll take that sadness to the graveThe unfulfilled monorail dream
In hindsight that was the turning pointBolton
To be honest, that was the best moment in our League 1 History ... we are where we are now, because of that game and the fact we sacked Lee Johnson on the Sunday and replaced him with Alex The Snake NeillLosing 0-6.
