Things that will forever haunt you from our League 1 era?

Reading the Jack Baldwin thread brought back some horrific memories from League 1…

Jack Ross not making a sub or changing the shape at half time during the 4-5 game against Coventry.
Signing Lee Burge after watching him in that first half against us.
Mandron’s equaliser against us just before Covid.
Grigg’s miss against MK Dons from inside the 6 yard box.

Some very bleak times during our League 1 spell.

I think I’d give up on football if we were ever relegated again.

Amazing how far we’ve come as a team/club on the field in such a short space of time.
Bolton away

The Fleur du lise pub at Gillingham will always haunt me
Was a canny walk from the ground got there to find pints like dishwater and we were told there’s a buffet on for yous but taking 1 glance it was the left overs from a party the night before what a shit hole but least we won that day despite having Embleton sent off

crap football, crap owners, crap characters around the club, bad atmosphere within the fanbase, discontent.

Seeing clubs beat us who should never get close if we were at it, most of all being told to accept our position by idiots.
Yep. Remember some of that. Embarrassing. Not just in here. Remember a twitter post from a fan after the Charlton defeat at Wembley saying what a great season it had been.....

Jon McLaughlin awkwardly climbing up 7 or 8 rows into a totally empty South Stand to retrieve the ball after a free kick during an FA Cup first round replay against Gillingham in a deserted stadium cos we had no ball boys.

Jack Ross setting up to defend a 1-0 lead at Fleetwood on the 2nd last game of the season (and subsequently losing 2-1), when two 3-0 wins would have got us up on goal difference.
