Using them you mean, we used to have a fire nearly every night as a kid, my mother bless her was always going off it about my stinking of fire clothes mixed with stink of sitting in downhill chippy shop for a warm in the winter. Happy days.

I used to enjoy having random bonfires. I also dabbled in making my own gunpowder/fireworks. If any of my airfix model aircraft were not up to scratch they went out in a blaze of glory!
