There'll be bother on Wednesday

Only if you go looking for it.

Very unlucky to be caught up in bother, if you keep your head down. I've been going to football for over 35 years and have never been in any bother or even come close.

Worst I saw was England v turkey and even then I walked the other way and didn't stand and watch like some did.

And yet others seem to be in bother regularly. Funny that. Maybe they're just unlucky.

is there anyone at the ground i can contact to make sure i get protected? can i give my seat number and have a steward beside me or is the bother going to be outside if its outside il wait inside for an hour or 2 til its quiet and get my dad to pick me up from close by really nervous now

I'll protect you I'm hard

IF we got to the final mags are away to hull on the saturday so central station could be lively

Less that 15% fatality rate amongst Sunderland fans last night apparently - more good news.

I drove to the match and parked in a school where a lot of home fans were parking (Cost me £10!!), I only parked there because I was late and my sat nav died just as I got into Manchester and I had no idea where I was going. I had no problems walking to the stadium or back to the car but I was with my ten year old nephew and didn't do anything to draw attention to myself (Except beaming from ear to ear that is).

I did walk the wrong way around the stadium and ended up having to walk all the way around it and my nephew was a bit nervous walking past so many home fans but other than that everything was fine.

saw one sunderland fan get a right good shouting at on matt busby way. hope he is ok. they looked quite a nasty lot so i just kept my head down and kept walking

Man Utd home support is a different proposition to their away support.

I don't think there was any animosity that I saw before or after the match around the ground last night.

I acted the twat a bit coming out shouting and singing, but no one really batted an eyelid.

My fingers are sore off all the v's I lobbed like.

Saw a group of Sunderland fans starting on a single Man Utd fan which was out of order.

A Man Utd fan being a knob on the tram when some of our fans were trying to have a conversation with him. that's it.

Have to say I thought their stewards were excellent where I was right next to the Home fans in the south stand. Did their job but were having banter with us. A few shook our hands and congratulated us at the end.
