I was walking in The Yorks Dales today and on a 4 mile walk only seen four other people.
Meanwhile at Alton Towers people were probably in a queue for upto two hours.
My day out cost around £20 in total for four adults and two dogs.

What would most prefer to do on here?

I say put the queues in the Dales and the dogs on a roller coaster!!

I go rambling every other weekend, doing the LOOP, should be 15 10 milers but we get lost and go on detours for pubs so it ends up being longer.

Absolutely love it, as does my Jack Russell, there are about 10 of us on each walk

Now imagine you are 13 years old... The 4 mile walk seems a bit shit doesn't it.

Gan to Alton Towers and avoid yee...........

Actually the people who I did see was a family.
Does Alton Towers attract people who scoff all day and then puke up after a dodgy ride :-D

I went with my girlfriend last week and we didn't see anyone puke, it was full of the most disgusting kind of scousers you could imagine though.

Quality day out still :)

I love that place

Try going up the hill to Moulin - the hotel there has a mini-brewery and a bar-billiards table........in the churchyard across the road there is the grave of a knight who was in the crusades. A mile and half further up the road there is the Edradour distillery.

Great place - especially at Hogmanay
