Their penalty

I know it means nowt but it’s not accepted by me. I will always call it out whether it’s our players or opposition.

I think people do call it out to a certain extent but in the wrong way, for example refs are slaughtered on here for not spotting this in our games in real time.

It’s extremely difficult to do that, for example yesterday in real time looked like a pen and no dive.

It’s only after watching replays you could see it wasn’t a pen and a dive imo.

The sport itself within football should be getting to together to look at a way to stop cheating but seem to have no inclination to do this.

And meanwhile officials unfairly get slaughtered game after game, even to the point of them been call cheats on this board despite all evidence pointing to fact it’s hard to spot cheating in real time.

Thought it was a blatant penalty on first view so can kinda see why it was given, clearly a minging decision after the replays though.
The EFL commentator when I've watched the highlights when watching the replay says that it was a definite penalty.
Shows how little they know

Never a penalty! If anything, the WBA player got a heavy touch on the ball, jumped in stretching for the ball, and if he'd connected with O'Nien, that'd be a red.
The ball was lost, O'Nien went for it, WBA player jumps in across him, pretended he'd been injured and rolled around like the cheating fanny he is.

Pathetic decision.

Sky commentator nailed it straight away. Said there was “no contact, I’ve seen that with my own eyes and there was no contact at all” and that was in real time before replays.

WBA we’re desperate yesterday like, they were willing to try anything to win that game. Diving all over the place, faking injury, trying to get our players booked & kicking lumps out of some of our players. So glad we came away with the points.

100% agree, but won’t happen in the ridiculous world of football.

You even have fans amazingly checking where a ref is from, in the Coventry game had fans working out how far Northampton is from Coventry and screaming bias because it was just 20 odd miles away:D

Football doesn’t need VAR if all concerned just accept mistakes unfortunately they don’t!

Don’t need VAR, need panel after games and action taken when cheating proven including points deductions, that would get rid it if they had the balls to it.

does that include the penalty they want for their player kicking ours early on?

He was on his way down and had lost control of the ball way before LON got near him, very poor decision, which could have cost us massivly, but the shithousery back fired on them and the best team on the day won.
