Their penalty

As much contact on their player for the pen as on Clarke tbh. Both very soft but if you give one you have to give the other.
This is my view. The real shocker is having given their penalty, then to not give Clarkes. You’ve set the bar so that too has to be a penalty in this case. There’s actually contact on Clarke, however minimal, so it is infinitely more of a penalty than the zero contact by Luke

They were horrible today dirty team
There was about four times in the first half hour that they committed bad professional fouls on Joffey, the ref correctly played advantage each time but should have gone back after and carded at least twice. Would have led to a red card for one of theirs if he had as they got yellows later.

Aye. Though he did this both ways. Was good to see Ekwah throw his weight about, but he got away with one like this.

The ref generally let a lot go, that’s also the context for the penalty - very soft considering how he was refereeing the game generally.

Seen it

Var involved it would have been over turned and a yellow for simulation

That lad milked a non existent touch a la what’s his name the German centre forward used to
You've got a lot more faith in VAR than I have. Judging by some of the decisions made recently they'd probably have recommended that 09 and Cirkin should both get red cards.

Var decisions have increased the correct decision making since it came in

I’ve lost money on them but with everything it’s down to the competence of those involved

I have very little faith in the likes of mason and dean when they were onfield never mind in a studio

The bloody cheek of it, he even managed to roll around as if he had actually been touched. Was in so much pain he got up and took the penalty. Yes Blatant cheating and got his just deserts. Beautiful
I couldn’t believe the guests in the studio at half time. They were saying there were definate contact even though you could see on the replay that he wasn’t touched by our player, but had just got his own legs tangled up. Also while on about those studio guests, I mean one of them said West Brom deserved to be in front based on the fact they had kept something like I clean sheets at home or something. Not a mention about how we dominated the first half.
