I used to sit beside a bloke who hated Wright, every game he called him worse than dog muck, every word about him was a swear word.

Then, one day, versus Watford at home, Wright scored. The bloke jumped right up and shouted "Gerrin Wrighty lad."

Two faced bugger, it made me laugh.
. That might have been me in my Bi-polar days was he a remarkably good looking bloke with stunning women draped all over him

I'm amazed it took so long!

Kilbane was pretty awful at LB. Of course Hall and Hetzke go without saying.
Forgot all about Kennedy so that should tell me something straight away. Kilbane I can let off as he never was a full back IMO. Wasn't much of a winger most of the time either if I remember.

Micky Gray started off a meh winger and became a decent fullback like. I think.

England international like so he had something about him. Best position was FB and he always gave his best. Still hard to forget that f***ing missed penalty though Micky. (Wembley for the young uns.) Fecking brilliant game to watch if you weren't a one of us or a Charlton fan though, unfortunately it all came out rosy for them after the shoot out. Done by a lad brought up in the locality by the name of Mendonca.
