You have my greatest sympathies.Friday - going to see Paul McCartney in Glasgow
Have you not grown out of that shit yet?
In the space between my reply to Cat and your post here I've set fire to all my cards and vowed never to play again.
I'm off out for 15 pints and two grams of beak tonight instead and Mrs. theMackem will have to drive herself home.
thats a bit of a swing from one extreme to the other - I was thinking maybe just a few beers instead been a geek
Being serious for a minute, what sucked me in to magic was falling into a rabbit hole of binge drinking my weekends away and having a few quiet beers turn into 5am, cos I wasn't coping with Mrs. ..... being in China for 2/3rds of the year and the uncertainty of when or if she'd be back. It gives me a way to clear my head and not blow £50-100 and ruin the next day.
Mind with how far I've fallen into the rabbit hole the drink would have worked out cheaper.
All sorted with the missus now mate?
Oh yeah, this was all 2016, we're settled homeowners with a baby on the way, but I never lost the cardboard crack habit.
Did wonders for meeting new folk when we moved to London. Mostly geeks like, but you take what you can get.
Friday - few beers, watching this documentary
Saturday - hopefully bring my little one home
Sunday - try get back some normal routine, hopefully the MIL fancies doing a dinner
Its that long ago? - christ Congrats on the expected arrival as well
Fair play
I was excited
However Thursday often features in my weekend
